KATIE FITZGERALD

My journey in recruiting took a transformative turn following the birth of my two little humans, igniting me with a desire to pursue a path that aligned with my values and contributed to the greater good, all while having the flexibility to juggle the demands of my family life alongside my FIFO husband.

Driven by a passion for gender diversity, gained through chairing the diversity committee in my time at an Engineering firm, I founded Unique Talent Solutions. A recruiting model that’s designed to inspire action, and drive change by breaking down barriers and prioritising gender diversity along with providing a unique solution for businesses seeking hiring assistance without the commitment of a full-time recruiter.

After dedicating over a decade to internal recruitment, I intimately understand the challenges faced by internal recruiting teams. Often, these teams are under immense pressure, running past capacity, which can detract from their ability to strategically source candidates and prioritise diversity.

With Unique Talent Solutions, my goal is to relieve some of this pressure by offering an outsourced hiring model focused female and diverse talent acquisition.
